Structure & Standards
The Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association is member driven. It is directed by a Board of Management and 3 Councils:
The National Repairers Council
This council deals primarily with the interests of car body repairers. Through discussion it feeds ideas and objectives into the Board which in turn helps form the future policy of the Association
The National Manufacturers Council
This council deals primarily with the interests of commercial vehicle repairers and vehicle body builders. Through discussion it feeds ideas and objectives into the Board which in turn helps form the future policy of the Association
The Smart Repair Council
This council deals primarily with the interests of repairers involved in Smart repair. Smart covers a huge range of activities including paintless dent removal, scuffs and scratches, upholstery, wheel refurbishment and the like. Through discussion it feeds ideas and objectives into the Board which in turn helps form the future policy of the Association
Board and Councils are made up of representative members thereby ensuring that he Association functions in the best interests of members and undertakes projects and provides services that members themselves determine.
All members are encouraged to become involved in the future direction of the Association through contacting the Secretariat via a Council Member, through their Area Manager or direct to the Director General. All matters raised in this way receive consideration at Council meetings.
Front line delivery of service is by Area Managers and Head Office specialists whose vast experience in the sectors we represent is invaluable.
A separate brochure on the benefits of membership is available for download or by post from Head Office.
